Subject: US travel

Carolyn and I are in Maryland. We are traveling with a Filipino couple that worked with us in Manila. We are sight seeing and I am contacting some people I worked with overseas who still need some follow up. I am normally traveling in other countries so this is a real treat. We stopped at Mammoth Cave last week. I had not been there for years. Very nice. Glad to hear that Aunt Helen is doing OK

    - Part of the money I'm paying to volunteer goes to buy goats and post-cataract lenses. I've been requested to suggest that other people donate to buy more goats but I told him I'd wait until I got home to do that. It's $65 per goat. Seems high to me but he tells me that's a good price.
