Donna called at about 10:00 PM Sunday. She's happy and healthy, that's the
important part. Here's the rest of what I know:

She's now back in civilization for the duration of her trip. She's in
Dunlod Fort (you can Google for info about it). She called from inside a
real room from a real phone so we could talk and be understood. She didn't
have very much time since she had been invited out on a walk that was about
to start.

Her friend Alice is on pain pills from getting banged-up and bruised after a
horse mishap. Alice's horse reared up and was going over backwards so Alice
bailed out to the side. The horse came down next to her instead of on her
as would have happened if she'd stayed on top of it. Nothing got broken,
but Alice is quite sore and bruised, so she's taking pain pills and dealing
with it. She still rides the horses some of the time but not as much as she
would have otherwise.

Donna said the horses they were given to ride are very pretty, but aren't
"friendly." Their attitude isn't "I'm glad to see you," it's more like "get
out of my face."

Donna said she's probably lost weight. Both because the food is plentiful
but has very few calories, and also because she eats breakfast and lunch but
always falls asleep before dinnertime because she's so tired. Plus she's
getting lotsa exercise.

There was an optional horse ride that recently ended, that she and Alice
opted out of. She was glad she did as it turned out to be a very long ride
with the riders getting in long after dark and very tired. She said in
general the riding has not been as much fun as expected because a lot of it
was "hurry up" followed by "slow down," then "keep the horses spread out so
they won't get into fights with each other" followed by "everybody bunch up
and stay close together," etc.

Donna said she's going on an elephant ride in the next day or two.

She also said she's taken around four hours of raw video of the trip so far,
so there should be lots to see when she gets back. And I'm sure an
incredible number of stories to tell.
