Subject: Music Historian Requesting Assistance - Lyrics wanted

In my study of ancient songs, I have come across an incomplete manuscript. Songs often cross cultural boundaries and I am hoping that someone else knows the continuation of this ancient song. The last piece of manuscript is reproduced here -

"Two hundred and forty six thousand, four hundred and nine green bottles sitting on the wall
Two hundred and forty six thousand, four hundred and nine green bottles sitting on the wall
And if one green bottle should accidentally fall, there'll be two hundred and forty six thousand, four hundred and eight green bottles sitting on the wall.

Two hundred and forty six thousand, four hundred and eight green bottles sitting on the wall.
Two hundred and forty six thousand, four hundred and eight green bottles sitting on the wall.
And if one green bottle should accidentally fall, there'll be two hundred and forty six thousand, four hundred and ..."

And there the manuscript ends, the rest having been destroyed in a fire. We know this manuscript is important because of its size. The first part of the manuscript weighs almost a ton and starts with the immortal words -

"One million green bottles sitting on the wall ..."

Myself and other researchers have spent years searching music history literature for the final part of this song to no end. We also requested assistance at the 67th Annual Music History Symposia two years ago but have received nothing so far.

If anyone can shed light on the missing lyrics please get in touch with me directly via this forum.
