Subject: Fish flu
As you are no doubt aware there has been a case of Fish flu discovered in China. A 14lb Halibut caught by a local fisherman in Yangtsexai lake yesterday sneezed and snuffed it whilst it was being thrown into a Chinese net.
The fisherman Ho Ling Koi described how the fish began thrashing around with it`s gills splurting out a yellowy green mucas before it sneezed violently then passed away.
Mr Ho Ling was immediately put to death and the body burned to minimise the risk of contamination to other humans and/or fish. Halibut are particulurly prone to catching flu, experts in the field say this is probably due to their ultra weak immune systems and infamously gargantuan nostrils.
Minister for Chinese Meat, Fish and Agriculture, Wendy Chan,
said the public should`nt be over-concerned but to avoid eating fish caught from the offending lake and anywhere else. Britisg Prime Minister Tony Blair will be meeting the Chinese Ambassador covertly 2 weeks on Friday to discuss whether a stealth tax can be developed to fleece the UK Chinese population.

I read your message with interest and great trepidation. As a small boy I caught a Halibut (45 years ago). Should I shoot myself and get her indoors to burn the carcass or visit Dr Singh tomorrow and get him to issue me with a sicknote?
Just to add, do you know of any good taxidermists as our cat is wheezing a bit at the momnent?
