When they got her into the wheelchair, another contraction was passing and she was pain free enough to recognize what her husband was doing. "Jeremy!" She called out, rarely using his nearly given name so that was unusual. "You're not on base, honey." She reminded him quietly before she let her head rest back against the wheelchair, her eyes sliding shut as she found his hand. She found herself wanting to comfort him almost as much as she wanted to be comforted...speaking of comfort, she looked around, trying to find her daddy with her eyes as she was wheeled into the prestigious government hospital. She was definitely a daddy's girl and if she wanted to make through the first part of this - which she read could take a little bit - she wanted all the support she could get. Family, her husband...and she really wanted Kyr there as soon as possible too. If not for her sake then for the task of keeping her husband sane.
