She smiled warmly at their best friends, her eyes going down to their son. "Meet Remington Chase McLean." She stated softly, smiling a little through the shine of tears in her eyes. "Chase, this is Uncle Kyrian and Aunt Haylie..." She looked over to Remy, waiting for his nod before she looked back to the two of them. "Remy and I were hoping that...that you two would be Chase's godparents..." She stated softly, watching them both to see what their reaction would be. While she was waiting, she looked over to Haylie, suddenly wanting her friend to experience this joy where she had been telling Kyrian never to inflict it on her. Shifting the baby, she handed him off to Haylie who looked frozen for a moment. At Shay's request, her eyes filled with tears at the honor and she was just frozen for a moment. When the baby was handed to her, she felt a bit paniced, she had never really held a baby before but - like most women - she just kinda knew what to do. Gently she took the baby, looking up at her boyfriend in quiet wonder, letting him answer for them as she looked back down at the baby who suddenly opened his eyes as if to check out this new person.
