(He couldn't stop smiling as his parents came over to congratulate him, which was why he let Shay introduce the baby to everyone and let Kyrian and Haylie know that they had decided to ask them to be Chase's godparents. He smiled as he looked over at his best friend and his girlfriend, laughing a little as Kyrian pointed to himself as though questioning what he had heard. He nodded and then watched as Haylie carefully cradled Chase in her arms, pride in his brown eyes.) (He couldn't believe they were asking him and Haylie to be the godparents, it meant so much to him and it was just such a huge responsability to be that involved in the child's life and raising. It was yet another vote of confidence in him and he was unprepared for the way his eyes sort of misted up.) Of course we will.. (He said as he looked over at Haylie holding the tiny boy, turning to look at him more closely, his arm going around Haylie's back. After a few moments, he ran his hand over the baby;s head and wondered as he looked at Haylie what it would feel like if this were their child instead. He turned his head and caught Shay lookig at him and smiled softly at her.) He really is a beautiful baby, Shay..
