(He smiled at her agreement to his idea and shifted his hand to her lower back as he walked with her to the elevators that would take them to the lobby. He wouldn't object to being intimate with her that night, but he was really just seeking closeness with her.. he wanted to show her that he was serious about this and that he wanted her around for a lot more than the physical aspect of their relationship. He wanted to marry her and share every up and down for the rest of his life with her.) We'll pick up something on the way and you might even be able to talk me into rubbing your feet later.. (He said with a little laugh, holding the elevator door for her and then slipping his arms around her when they were alone inside the elevator, just resting his head against hers and being close to her.) (He smiled as he gently ran the backs of his fingers down her cheek and gazed at her lovingly.) Well then, I won't complain about it. (He said with a little laugh, pressing his forehead to hers when she leaned up to kiss him, following her back down so that her head was resting on the pillow.) I know you were... whatever Haylie brought for me worked wonders though.. I couldn't have left you no matter what happened. (He finally pulled back from her as Chase started to fuss, helping her shift the baby so that he could take him from her, cradling him close and rubbing his back to burp him before returning him to Shay's arms.) Hold him until he sleeps.. but then you really need to rest, love..
