She sighed deeply, pausing a long moment before she just nodded and cleared her throat. "Yeah. Yeah. Alright. See you soon." She stated, hanging up on Remy and going back to her mom, her brow furrowed. "You know, I am sick to fucking death of someone I know almost dying and my life being in danger." She growled out, shifting to place Chase in his play pen and then to gather up his diaper bag and some things he might need. Her mom questioned her as to what was going on and she told her what she knew which had Kate worried for them all but Shay told her not to worry about it - if she was supposed to die she would have done so on one of the other previous ten attempts or so on her life. Wrapping up the phone call, she then let the people into the apartment, Chase immediatly begining to scream at the bunch of people who just swarmed into the room, causing her to groan and go to him. She was just getting pissed off. Not four minutes later the team who was there to collect came in and she was insisting on driving herself and Chase before she remembered how short she was with Remy and figured she had better listen to him. She let one of the guys get the car seat and before long she was walking into the headquarters, carrying the baby with two special ops agents behind her carrying a play pen, carrier, car seat and a diaper bag.

    - She had really thought that she could handle this - his career and all that. She thought she could be the cool, in control woman who could handle her husband being in danger and her friends nearly dying every other freaking day but now that it was actually happening she was having some second thoughts. At her husbands words, she just nodded, looking down at their son in her arms for a second. How was he going to live when he was older? Constantly wondering if Daddy, Uncle Kyrian or Aunt Haylie were going to be coming home. A low breath escaped her as she just nodded and stepped into the room, telling the agents where to put Chase's things before she offered a slight smile to Remy, though it obviously wasn't heartfelt, before she turned to head into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
