(He knew it wouldnt be long before Shay and Chase were there, and he had sent a couple agents over to get his usual quarters fully inspected and prepared for their arrival. He had been about to leave Kyrian to rest when he felt his friends hand tugging on his pant leg and looked down to see Kyr gazing up at him with a plaintive expression.. it was obvious his friend had something on his mind and wasn't quite able to get it out.) I'll get you some water, but just so you know Shay will probably be in here pestering you as soon as she gets here. (He left Kyr laying in the bed and went down to his office to get a bottle of water out of the minifridge behind his desk. On his way back, he saw them bringing Shay in and let out a breath of relief, even though she didnt look like she was happy to see him.) Shay.. (He said as he walked over to intercept her and the baby, leaning over to press a kiss to her cheek, his free hand brushing over Chase's head.) Sorry about this baby.. hopefully it wont be long.

  - She had really thought that she could handle this - his career and all that. She thought she could be the cool, in control woman who could handle her husband being in danger and her friends nearly dying every other freaking day but now that it was actually happening she was having some second thoughts. At her husbands words, she just nodded, looking down at their son in her arms for a second. How was he going to live when he was older? Constantly wondering if Daddy, Uncle Kyrian or Aunt Haylie were going to be coming home. A low breath escaped her as she just nodded and stepped into the room, telling the agents where to put Chase's things before she offered a slight smile to Remy, though it obviously wasn't heartfelt, before she turned to head into the bathroom, closing the door behind her.
