Subject: Hi Ellie & Tina

Hi Ellie & Tina,

Ellie, I am glad that your daughter is doing fine. Your family celebration on Mother's day with your 2 youngest granddaughters must have been very special. It was such a large gathering. I enjoyed reading about the teddybears.

Tina,

I am sorry to hear that you were in so much pain but thank goodness that you went to the hospital out-patient department. I am so so happy that all your tests showed that you are cancer free. I continue to keep you in my prayers.

Thank you for your words of support with all the water flooding in my basement.
I contacted my contractor and have asked him to do the clean up work and make sure that there is no mold left behind. I decided that I did not want to tackle this project because of my allergies.

We are having very hot and humid weather which started yesterday. It beats all the rain that caused so much damage.

It is fun to watch Kaitlyn as she seems to be doing or saying something new each week. She is very active and loves to crawl. She is so fast that it is hard to keep up with her at times. She stands up without holding on but is not walking yet. I still put her in the play yard a couple of times during the day.

I wish you both good health and please keep posting. You gals seem to keep so active and are both excellent writers.
I always look forward to reading your chats.

Phyllis

Glad you are getting everything in your basement cleared up! Finally we are supposed to have a week of warm fine weather-whoopie!
The last 2 afternoons I took my husband and the dogs for a drive..long slow and by the seacoast, it was so beautiful, then we stopped at a different restaurant each day and had lunch, with my station wagon, actually a 99 ford escort, the dogs can sit in back because I have a dog divider so that when we leave them in the car a short period of time I can leave all the windows down, could not do it in the city or the car would be stollen even though we sit near the restaurant windows so we can watch the dogs.
Would love to see you trying to keep up with Kaitlyn, one wonders how they can gather so much energy for all the things they try to get into.My easiest way to keep Zoe amused at that age was kind of messy, I would give her a pan of water and bunch of little toys and she would mess in it for an hour at a time while I sat on a rocking chair beside her reading and keeping an eye on her, those times were much needed rests-lol The old blanket used to absorb the spilled water was hung out to dry every time the play was finished. Not all children love water like she did but I am glad she liked it.
This morning as I drank my coffee on the back patio so that I could watch the wild ducks eating the cracked corn I always place by the pond for them a wild pheasant came streaking through the yard and a few minutes later a wild rabbit..both are very rare here these last few years,6 am is the best time to see the most wildlife so it is a good thing I am an early riser! I imagine Ellie sees much more of wildlife animals than we do, If I lived where there were more wild animals I would never go in the house because I would be afraid of missing out on the fun of watching them-lol
All the best to you and yours
