Subject: treatment

I am starting chemo Friday.I was given the choice of 50% chance of chemo giving me 6 months to a year or no treatment and going on morphine.I know chemo will lower my quality of life by giving me terrific pain three or four days after each treatment and some days after that but even with only a 50% chance for a few more months and perhaps a mericle like the last chemo< I am going for it!Don't want my children and grandchildren always wondering if Grandma would have lived a little longer if she tried.I was never a quitter and want to fight to the end. I am not afraid of the dying but hate to leave my loved ones.
Special things that I want them to have I have been giving them for some time, lots of people never get chance for that.
If I am well enough next week I will let you know how the chemo is going, my body may go into a reaction as some do if their last chemo sessions were only 2 yrs away. They will give me chemo every 3 weeks if my body accepts it, then give me a scan and if the chemo is not helping they will stop and just give me pain killers until the end.
MY yard is like the garden of eden so I have already had a taste of heaven,if my body accepts the chemo I will be able this time of year to sit out and enjoy while healing for a while..last time it was winter when I had the treatments which they keep telling me kept me living against all odds. But this time chances are very slim for even making it a year..they stressed that.
