Subject: update

Well folks..3 days since my second round of chemo..so far I am feeling very different than 2 yrs ago chemo.
I came home home from the hospital very hyper.Cleaned and sorted things in the house to midnight, was to Daughter, and 2 granddaughters graduations the night before,50 yr old daughter graduated /nursing..with honors as did her neice, and Tammy from drafting..both my grandaughters.
o.k. so day after my chemo..hyper as heck..cleaned my 2 giantpicture windows in the living room, cleaned the porch and the back cement patio..none needed to be done but other than clean I would have been climing walls-lol
Now I was told I would be very sick this time from day 1 of second chemo..so far it hasn't set in but I know it must in the next few days but I am making the most of these days. They told me I had to get rid of my pet birds because one bite could drive my fever over the 38 and it could be fatal so my granddaughters and oldest daughter love them and have them now.I am not allowed to go swimming
and that I mind terribly.
just wanted to give you an update in case you have friends that get in this mess some day..even in its' worst it is bearable and so un predictable..even if it does not save my life , it is an experience that gives you the satisfaction of trying to survive so encourage friends and relatives through the years "hopefully you will never have to but just in case" I wanted you to hear it from the horses mouth-lol !

Hi Tina,

I just read your posting. Congratulations on your daughter and niece graduation from nursing. You must be so very proud of them. Also congratulations on your 2 granddaughters graduation.

It is good that your daughter took your pet bird and you don't have to worry about the bird having a good home.

You are so caring and kind to keep us updated. One of my friend's husband is undergoing radiation and after that will be starting chemotherapy. He was recently diagnosed with maligant brain tumor.

My prayers are with you both.

Hugs,
Phyllis
