Subject: Sorry..

I'm Sorry I didn't get back on here when I said I would, but I couldn't get this site up for two days. I don't know what happened there. Tina, I'm am so sorry you went through 'pure hell" after your last lot of chemo, thoughts and prayers are with you for the 17th, that there will be a good outcome. I hope you have a lovely two days at the lake.
Loved the description of the little red squirrels, and the ravens.. A lot of people don't like ravens but I do.
Well, the plays I was in are over. The first week, 3 nights performances, were a little slow, but the next week, another 3 nights, we had FULL HOUSE every night, and so many compliments from the audiences, it was fantastic.
I got a bunch of photos of my newest grandson Benjamin, 6 weeks old, in the mail yesterday. He is so beautiful, as is his brother, Alexander, 20 months. Unfortunately I don't have the 'stuff' to send pictures on line, so you will just have to take my word for it!
I started a 6 week course in 'Cooking for One' today. Well, I've cooked for a family for years of course, but now I'm on my own I thought it might give me some fresh ideas.
Biggest surprise was that most of the class were Men! It was sponsored by Veterans Affairs, butthey also advertised in our local paper which is how I found out about it.
So there were six 'old fellows' in the class, and 2 women, me and a lovely 80 something lady, Mona.
We did honey soy stir fry chicken, and bread and butter pudding, then we all sat down together and ate what we had cooked, it was kind of a fun morning, but crowded with 8 of us, and 2 instructors, in the kitchen!
Thoughts to all,
Ellie.
