Ellie and Phyllis I enjoy your posts very much.
Cynthia and I and Zoe had such a wonderful time on our trip,the weather was perfect the whole week,the fun surpassed even what I had hoped.
Spent 2 nights in an indian tepee,a fun new experience,off to the beaches in the days,at Caribou Island..then off to Prince Edward Island"home of the red sand and red soil,wonderful farmlands,we did all the touristy things,Haunted mansion the eventually led you to the most beautiful gardens and waterfalls, wax museum,ripleys "Beleive it or not" boardwalk shopping district where I bought a beautiful jacket at half price and a shop where I bought 4 novelty shaped watches for the price of one,"I have a watch fettish where I like to wear different one each day of the week"
At the motel the owner made a big fire in the circular fire place on the lawn each night at 9 and others sat with us gabbing until midnight,nice meeting and having chats with strangers who made you feel like you knew them all their lives.
While cynthia and Zoe enjoyed the water slides in the water parks I rested by reading and just enjoying the scenery etc.
Today is the first day of "back to school" for all students. Thursday is blood test day for me to see if all is safe for my Friday chemo.
I have had such a wonderful summer that it is hard to think it is just about over. My school chum from Courtney British Columbia is coming home to see her mom next week so she and I will be chumming around together,she lives as far west in Canada as you can get and I as far east so it is nice to get together once a year.Her husband is retired from the air force so she can travel cheaply or more cheaply tham most people.Bet it still costs her about a thousand dollars..wish I could afford that! Oh well I do enjoy the things I can afford.If it were a choice of friends or money I would choose friends.
