Subject: heat

Ooooh Ellie..I just heard on the radio that in Melburne Australia it is 36 celc. My goodness it must be about that hot at your place and you must feel like you are melting.
If I wasn't near the ocean where it was safe to swim or by a lake I would be sitting all day in a tub of water, perhaps even with ice cubes in it-lol
Really I don't think I would survive in that much heat.
we are in the minus weather as of yesterday, it was like spring all along breaking all records for the warmest winter so far.Tomorrow it is supposed to be minus 17 but like minus 27 with wind chill. All schools are closed today,we had only about 6 inches of snow but it was an icy snow and driving it the pits! Four people in a 50 klm radius of us were killed in accidents and about 7 in the hospital from injuries.
I have my deep freezer well stocked with food as is my fridge so I don't have to travel when the roads are bad.I do hope the winds tomorrow are not bad enough to knock out the electric power.
Lots of birds to my bird feeders this morning.Phyllis is most likely having the same weather as we are, we are hundreds of miles apart but in the same weather path most times.
All the best..keep cool somehow!
