Wow Ellie ! What a wonderful birthday !
Things have been a bit dull here except Granddaughter Zoes eleventh birthday party which was a noisy blast at her house. Daughter Darlene got through her gall bladder operation just fine,thank heavens.She had gall stones and they finally found the source of her mysterious pains,gall bladder sometimes bothers the back area more than the chest and it fools even the doctors.
some schools in the province are closed today due to blinding,blowing snow..but so far it hasn't struck in our area.So funny that a few miles away the weather can be so different but ours can change in a matter of minutes so I won't go anyplace except the post office for my mail.That is 2 minutes away by car.
OH I am anxious for warmer weather so I can go to the lake but that is at least 2 months away. Next week is March break for the school kids so Cynthia and I and Zoe will most likely go to a few places that present special events to amuse the March break folks. Many will be flying to Florida for the week or other warm vacation areas.
Did your brother have a good week in Florida?
Phyllis , like me you are most likely ruled by the weather as to what events you can go to, depending on the roads.We had a few days up to zero now the weather forcast is for minus 10 or so for the next few days, I think you had more fierce weather this year than we did here and it is usually the other way around.I got an e-mail from my German vetinary friend who has vacation homes here in our county,one on an island a few miles from here and another on the mainland also a few miles from here or klm, anyway she is still in Germany and said Germany had the warmest winter in 104 years.Quite a record.
do you ladies remember Dodo who used to post here,do you hear from her?She used to e-mail me or chat via msn but I haven't heard from her in ages, I hope she is fine,she lives in Australia, she is a marvelous photographer and used to send me lovely photos or urls that I could view her photos.I learned a lot about Australia from her.
Well ladies lets all keep our fingers crossed that we get the weather that we like so that we can sport around in Garden of Eden weather-lol
