Subject: Another Nor'Eastern

Hi Ellie & Tina,

Last week we have 60 degree weather and it was so nice for several days. It didn't seem possible that we would have such a change in the temperature.

Well late yesterday afternoon it started snowing and it continue all night long and then it turned to freezing rain.
What a nightmare on the sidewalks. We received a foot of snow. I have been outside twice to shovel the front walk and then tackle the ramp (the ramp is very long). The snow is very wet and heavy. I am hoping that I will be able to get my car out of the driveway as Michael is coming by later this afternoon to plow it.

I am catching up on things today as I had to watch Kaitlyn 4 days last week and I was totally exhausted. The other sitter had a bad case of the flu. My daughter took one day off in the middle of the week to give me a break.

Kaitlyn is very active and on the go most of the day. Thank goodness she takes a nap in the afternoon so I can have some quite time. Rufus also requires my attention and I have to help him back up the steps at my daughter's house. Her yard is fenced in but still difficult when the weather is bad.

I hope every one is doing well.

Tina, you must have had some of this weather too.

Take care and I look forward to both your postings.

Happy St. Patrick's day.

Phyllis

Phyllis we still have had not one snow storm of more than 6 inches, the northern part of our province has had big storms.Yesterday we woke up to a glass world,we had had about 2 inches of snow ,then freezing rain, it was so beautiful to see but you could not stand up anyplace outdoors until after eleven a.m.when it finally started to melt. All Lunenburg county "which includes,Lunenburg,Mahone Bay,Bridgewater,Blockhouse and areas in between"well we all came to a standstill, there was just no way of walking outdoors,I went out on my covered patio and threw out cracked corn for the ducks, they flew into the yard, slid about 10 feet and tried to walk to the corn, they looked so funny slipping and sliding. My poor doog who is 13 yrs old
resorted to peeing on the front patio and came in hanging her head in shame.I felt so sorry for her.
Last night we have a big rain storm and my small waterfall sounds like Niagra Falls-just a roaring to it. Supposed to be fine today so Cynthia,Zoe and I are going to Hatfield farms for horse & wagon rides, hot chocolate etc in a log cabin in the woods.
