Subject: enjoying posts

Ladies I really enjoyed your posts and could "feel" the joy on your enjoying activities with your families.
Our wagon ride was great fun, we had a wonderful day for it. It has been a bit dull around here since then, but then again I have done a foolish thing, I have missed having a small dog, Brandi is a big dog and I love her but I really miss the cuddly type so I have spoken for a little fellow, chinses chin/shitzu mix. My daughters have promised me they will look after him if I get sick again or if I do that big trip to the beyond.
I know this is selfish of me but I keep feeling I have to do it. It will be 4 weeks until I get him. I have been to see him several times and decided to name him Bo like beau but in chinese Bo means cherished one.
Brandi always was used to having a small dog around too so I think it will do her good.
Our weather has been rather nice but we are still getting
minuses in the evenings.
Have a great week ladies.

Hi Ellie & Tina,

How exciting Tina that you are going to have a new dog to cherish and enlight you! I hope the 4 weeks will go by fast for you.

My "senior citizen" golden retriever turned 15 and we are taking one day at a time. He sleeps alot and I am grateful that we made it through the winter. Whenever I go to visit my granddaughter for a quick visit on the weekends without him, she asks for him by name.
(I take him for a short walk first and make sure he is sound asleep as he does not like me to leave him alone)
What we won't do for our beloved pets. I cherish every day with him.

Our weather has been better during the day but still very cold at night. Next week is going to be cooler.
My sister and I are going out to lunch with her newly retired co-worker to celebrate her first official day off from work on Monday.

I will be having my family who live nearby for Easter dinner. Happy Easter to all.

Phyllis
