Subject: puppy

My puppy Bo is finally home, they called yesterday that I could come for him, what a charmer, at just under 7 weeks he cries to let me know when the bathroom trip is needed.
He slept through his first night with only needing the pee at 3 am which is when I usually go anyway=lol
Phyllis puppies are a lot of work but I hope if you don't need a big dog for protection that you at least get yourself a little one, or a good one from a shelter that is through the puppy stage if that suits you better.
I know you are heartbroken but to know you are giving another one the happiness you gave before is a great feeling.
Ellie I know how the little fibs to ease childrens feelings can backfire, with 7 children I also learned the hard way.
Now ladies I have to be like a rooster and crow a bit.
Zoe my granddaughter came first on 2 different days of the 5 day music festival and 2nd on the other days. At eleven years old it is quite an achievement.
We are having spring weather and along with the warmer temperatures April showers.
Ellie I wish you a good fall and winter that is not too harsh in any way.
All the best ladies.

Hi Tina & Ellie,

Thanks for your messages regarding Rufus.

I am out walking early in the morning as I need to keep my routine up. Also my daughter has asked me to go to the park with Kaitlyn on the weekends and my sister usually comes over later in the afternoon for a visit.

I do miss his presence very much but know in my heart it was the time for him to depart this earth.

At this time I do not plan on another pet but will make a decision in the future if I change my mine.

I am planning a trip to Florida in June to visit with my son's family and am going to attend 2 dance recitals for my granddaughters. I miss them as I have not seen them for a year and a half.

Tina, congratulations on Zoe's achievement. You have very reason to be proud of her to do so well on the music festival.

Oh how exciting it must be to have Bo as part of your family. I'm sure it will keep you very busy taking care of a puppy.

Ellie & Tina, you are probably right about young children knowing more then we think especially when they are used of seeing a pet and then do not. Kaitlyn has asked for him every day since I babysat last week. At present she seems satified with my answer of "Rainbow Bridge", however she said that he was sleeping to me. My daughter has several pictures of him on display at her home.

We are having a very rainy day outside and it is cold and raw out.

Yesterday I went to an Italian restaurant with my sister's husband family for a gathering. The food was delicious and I had leftovers to take home.

I hope everyone has a good week and Ellie that you have a good trip.

Thanks again for your support,
Phyllis
