Subject: Re The Lake.

Tina, what a beautiful place the lake sounds like. What is the lake's name? How wonderful that you can go alone (and Bo) or have a whole wonderful family happening there.
My daughter and her husband have been holidaying in the Northern Territory in the far north of Australia. They've been in Darwin (the capital city up there) for the last two weeks, and now are heading back down south. A few nights ago they went on a conducted tour.. a barbeque then out on a boat on the river to look at the crocodiles! oooh!
Much warmer up there, it's been very cold here down south.. and I haven't been doing anything nearly as exciting as crocodile watching!

Ha! I was crocodile hunting in Florida but that was eleven years ago..cynthia & I had an Australian gent running the boat, it was made for the everglades, big fan wheel in the back and it glided over the water,it was so much fun.
The lake I go to is Mush-a-mush..no not a dirty word-lol,it is the northern word command for Eskimo dogs to race across ice/snow.Years ago before trucks the logs were saved until the lake froze and then were transported by horses or oxen hauling them across the ice on iron runners to one of the many mills that used to be on Mush-amush river.
Today Cyn & I are going to a specialist in the valley to see if my belly scan came out all right..like hopefully no more cancer showing, must admit I am nervous about the outcome, last scan was in November and it was ok.
Bo is staying home with my hubby because we will most likely go to the zoo after seeing the doctor.Zoe is going with us..last time she got the giggles over me singing "all of the monkeys ain't in the zoo, theres some a hangin around me and you"
Cheated..didn't go to church yesterday..hung around the lake all day, it was so hot I had to go swimming quite a few times.Hope the valley isn't too hot today, oh well there is air conditioning in the vehicle.
Catch you later.Have a great week!
