Subject: Trip

Ahh ...what a wonderful trip-18 hrs on the train each way and I stayed in the observation car as long as it was daylight=didn't want to miss a thing. There is Quebec city and old Quebec city. Old Quebec city is marvelous..we went to something different every day-horse and buggy tour-ferry tour- 4hr bus tour to water falls higher but not as wide as Niagra falls-went to a sugar shack where they make maple sugar, bought some maple sugar and maple butter-went to the cathedral where the mericles take place-lots of crutches and wheel chairs left behind-the cathedral is a fantastic building-went to the places Phyllis told me about..excellent..all in all it was like a dream-exceeded my wildest expectations!
Alas 2 days after I came home-hubby had to have his gall bladder taken out..they couldn't do the new short operation-he had to have the full "big incision" operation..and now in the next 2 days he is being taken to Halifax Hospital from Bridgewater hospital to have a stone that is blocked in a duct removed by scope and laser..then bought right back to Bridgewater again by ambulance. My oh my what fun and games we are having with doctors and hospitals!
Hope you are all fine and having good weather.Lots of love to all!!!

Hi Tina,

Miss you while you were on your trip.

So glad that you had a wonderful time on your trip. Sounds like you fit so much into your visit. The Cathedral of Miracles must have been absolutely beautiful.

Did you take any pictures on your trip? I love taking photos and usually take them at all family and friend's special event.

I bet the maple sugar will be delicious.

Sorry to hear about your husband's gallbladder and the trouble he encounter after the operation. I will include him in my prayers. It good that you were back home when it happened.

I went to my niece's graduation from high school and had a great time at her family celebration. She will be going to college in Massachusetts. Tomorrow (Father's day) I am invited to my daughter's home for a barbecue with her Dad. Her Mother-in-Law is also attending. It will be fun and delicious food.

Take care.

Sending best wishes to all and those celebrating Father's Day have a great day!

Phyllis

Tina, that sounds like a fantastic time.

I'm sorry to hear that your dh is having such problems. I pray he will heal fast.
