Subject: Trying to remember what being married is like

I am married aren't I???

Dh has just spent three weeks in Adelaide, nearly two weeks in Canberra (home on weekends) and going back to Canberra until the 30th. On the 2nd I head out of Sydney for a trip to Dubbo (dh is dropping us off and then coming back to pick us up at the end of two weeks). That makes a total of seven weeks where we might have been lucky to spend seven days together. (where's that wobbly eyed smace?) Then, when I get home, dh may be off again on another long trip.

I'm off to my parent's home to housesit for them while they're away, so will be spending time knitting and playing on my computer (that I'm planning to take with me/no internet).

I'm also planning to take China and McGuiness with me to give dh less things to have to think about while he's still at home working. It will be interesting how China is in the country. Mum and Dad still have Nip's enclosure (Nip passed last year), so I've got somewhere safe to keep her at least.

Kylie

I''m sure it must be difficult for you to have to spend so much time without your husband but at least it sounds like he is busy working.

Your parents must be happy that you are housing siting for them. What will you be knitting? My Mother used to knit European style (yarn around her neck) and unfortunately I never learned how to knit. She also knitted some baby blankets and infant sweaters and told me to set them aside for her grandchildren when they had their first child. She was very talented with her handwork.

I sure that your husband will appreciate you all the more when he gets to stay home.

Take care.
Phyllis
