Well !! The nerve of mother nature..she dumpped 3 more feet of snow on us..everything was closed for 3 days-sunday church..Monday and today..stores,schools even liquer stores and post offices.I imagine you got some of it because I watched the American weather report for the Eastern coast.
Where are we going to put it all , I mean the snow that we plow out of the driveways and roads?
Lord help us if it rains anytime soon because if it does we will all be swimming or rowing..hope the sun comes out enough to melt even half of it away.
Well have to go shovel some more-lol

Hi Tina,

We did get a Nor'Easter starting Saturday late afternoon and lasting until Sunday noontime and we got about 20 inches of light fluffy snow. Most churches were closed on Sunday in our area too.

Today it has been snowing since wee hours of the morning and still coming down. Travel is very bad and expected to get worse for the night time commute. Now the sidewalks are covered with snow and ice underneath as the temperature is very cold and expected to drop until the weekend. In addition to the snow I had to call a plumber on Saturday (they charge time and a half) to blow torch a frozen pipe. I tried a hairdryer but that did not do the trick.

Also my friends and I had planned to out to celebrate my birthday Saturday evening and we had to cancel at the last minute due to the weather. We have rescheduled for this Saturday evening.

I am beginning to like winter less each year. At least my back yard is fenced in so Rufus (my golden) can go out even though he prefers to go for walks.

You seem to have received more snow. Boston which is about 75 miles from here also got more snow and the airlines had to cancel many of their flights.

Please keep me posted to your weather and how things are going.

Take care.
Phyllis
