Subject: Easter

Happy Easter to all ! I love Easter, not just for the religous reasons but for the memories of Easter when my children were growing up.
The children made their own Easter baskets and the Easter bunny would fill them with goodies. The Easter bunny also always left eggs in little hay nests about the yard.Of all 10 of my grandchildren the youngest is nine years old so I don't have to fun of watching the egg hunt.
One year our old dog that we had at that time went out and ate a lot of the eggs..I had to do another bunch up before the children got up from bed. After the egg hunt we would go to Sunday school and church and come home to a feed of ham and eggs.
Wishing you all love and happiness Easter and all year through!

That is so nice Tina.. I have happy memories like that too.. some of them are funny. As in the time I gave (then) 4 year old grand-daughter a little basket of bunnies and eggs and she declared 'I've already GOT one of those!" Her mother was horrified, but it was true, her other grandmother had given her exactly the same!
Also had the dog expeience..Son-in lws dog Sam found a BIG egg that had been hidden and ate the lot!
One of my sons was very partial to white chocolate, so even when he was in his late teens, the only one of the 4 still living at home then I'd get him a white choc egg or rabbit and hide it for him to find.
Ellie.
