Subject: Late Night

Hello,

Today is Saturday and it is going to rain all day.

I thought I would share my experience last night.

Around 9:00 p.m. ,I heard a loud noise like something was banging. I went to investigate and was not sure why I heard that noise, so I went down cellar to check the furnaces (I have 2, one for upstairs apt and mine). On one of the furnace, I have to add water to keep it at the right water level. I noticed the water was rusty looking (I could tell where the water level was) and I decided to call my oil company as I was worried something was not right. The serviceman told me he had 2 calls before he could come out. He arrived at my home close to midnight. He decided to drain some of the water from the furnace with a hose. It was quite a job and he finished around
1:15 a.m. This was well past my bedtime. He couldn't tell my why this happened but said it was a good thing that I called. I guess we are right to trust our instincts.

I have a protection plan but this service call will not be covered as they do not cover anything to do with water issues. Everything seems to be ok this morning but I am dragging as I am not a night owl.

On a more pleasant note, Nancy drove me to Macy's dept store last Wednesday and I found 3 cotton maternity tops for my daughter. One has rainbow colors, one was pink and the other white. I also bought the cutest baby outfit.
We are planning a surprise baby shower on May 15th at a restaurant with around 40 guests. We are having a buffet luncheon. Nancy will be helping me writing and sending out the invitations. Her daughter will be decorating and assisting my daughter while she is opening her gifts.
Nancy and I went out to eat after our shopping spree at an Italian restaurant. My sister came over to feed my sog supper so that Nancy & I did not have to rush back, The afternoon flew by and I returned home and took my dog for a walk. He was barking up a storm when I came back as if to say where were you.

I hope everyone is doing well and send my best for a good week.
Best wishes,
Phyllis
