Phyllis sounds like quite an adventure with your furnace..anything wrong with any heat source is scary.
Sounds like the baby shower will be lots of fun.
It was nice to hear from Nancy-hope she joins us again.
Ellie how is the writers group doing?
Our time changed this past week end to daylight saving time,everyone seems to have a hard time adjusting to it,my problem is the dogs are still waking at 5am which was 4 am..hope I can soon break them of that.
We have no green grass yet, or flowers but the summer birds are coming back and there are signs of buds on some trees..oh I can hardly wait-yes I know about july or Aug you will see me complain about the heat and that I have to soak in the lake to survive-lol but I want to see green leaves,flowers.
Had to drink some yukky stuff last night and will again this afternoon to light up my insides for a scan this afternoon at the hospital to see if my cancer "bugs"spores have returned.Routine scan but I am a bit worried.
Oh my isn't the price of gas high? I love driving and now it is costing soo much! Why is it that all the fun things cost so much?

Hi Tina,

I agree with you that this time change is hard to adjust to.
The day seems to fly by. Hopefully your dogs will learn to sleep later. Mine still gets up early but sometimes I just crawl out onto the couch to get some extra sleep.

I am thinking of you and hope everything went well with your scan. I think of you often and enjoy our chats very much. You have so much to offer and are very interesting.

My dog has to go under general anesthesia later this month to have the vet take a closer look at both ears as he has had chronic ear infections for a very long time. The vet said they would flush the ear canals out and put medication deep into the ears. The vet also said he might have to do it several times. I am not looking forward to this as my dog is 13 years old and I will worry.

Nancy is coming over next Wednesday to help me write out the invitations for my daughter's shower. We will take a walk up the street to a cafe called "In A Pinch" to have lunch. They make the best homemade bread and they use real turkey for their sandwiches.

My sister walked over to visit me and we are planning on going out for a walk in a little while.
