Ellie I have been trying to post on here but my computer is acting bonkers..please e-mail me when the baby comes..

oh I know I am leaving myself open to un wanted mail by posting my e-mail here but it is the chance I will take..perhaps someone will send me a new computer-lol
It is so hot I have been spending every other day at the lake or at my oldest granddaughters place-she just moved to a place where there is a beautiful beach right across the street from her..the house is high up a hill but just 2 minutes to walk down the driveway to the beautiful salt water beach and beautiful ocean views.Our house is quite long-one story high and the air conditioner just cools the huge living room and a bit of the kitchen..have fans in the bedrooms but stay at the lake when I can..the trailer there is air conditioned..has kitchen-living room..3 peice bath and one bedroom..right beside a big lake called big Mush-a-mush.
pets like the living room home with the air conditioner and usually stay home with my hubby who doesn't go to the lake very often..Tadpole the part chihuahua part jack russel terrier loves the heat so lays where he can be warm.
Hottest summer of my lifetime and I will be 70 in Oct.Scientests say these hot summers will continue every year for some years.
I better close this before the computer decides to shut down again..love to all..ps I can always read the posts on voy even when it won't allow me to post.

I am sorry to hear that your computer is acting up. My computer is very old and I am keeping my fingers crossed that it will continue to work. It is very slow and I cannot open up any attachments on it.

How fortunate that you can cool off near the seashore at your granddaughter's house. It sounds so nice wish I could join you. I have not been to the beach this year but it has been very hot here in New Hampshire. This week has been in the 90's and the air conditioner is running as well as my fans. Our weather is similar.

Would you also give Ellie my e-mail address when she writes to you on your home computer as I would like her to have it.
I prefer not to post it here although I think that you and Ellie are the only ones reading our messages.

I am not happy with the predications of the scientists that we will have hot summers for the years to come. I wonder about our winter this year. Someone told me it would be a very cold one. The price of oil is so high.

I did rent my apartment and my new tenants will be moving in the 1st of September. My contractor has been working on major renovations for the last 3 months. It turned out to cost much more that I planned on but it needed the work done. He did an excellent job.

My daughter and husband and baby are staying at the lake with her husband's relatives this week. They will be home on Saturday. My daughter returns to work on 8/30 and I will then babysit 3 days a week,Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
I will be bring my 13 year old golden retriever with me.

I think with luck this may go through..
Gas and oil are so high here..1.13 litre today - supposed to go up higher.Hope you don't have far to travel to your daughters 3 times a week.
Glad you have your apartment rented.My son has gone to Conneticutt to pick up his daughter who was working as an au pair for a year.the folks there wanted her to stay with them but she is anxious to get home to start her nursing courses.
