Subject: the big storm passed by us

The weather forcasts said we would be hit strongly but thank goodness the storm passed by us out at sea.
I am feeling fine-today is a week since my heart acted up.
Phyllis-I can well imagine you would be tired after a day
with your granddaughter,I went through that with Zoe "pronounced Zoey" Love her dearly but there were days I could hardly keep my eyes open until her mom came for her and I didn't have to travel to her home so you have it harder yet. They always had supper here before they went home.Zoe is 9 yrs old now and her mom works while Zoe is in school and on some occaisions I do pick her up from school and keep her here 'till her mom comes. Her divorced parents are friends and her dad keeps her some week-ends,they only live 12 miles apart. So much easier on the children if the parents stay on speaking terms.
Zoe feels rich-pile of toys here and at home and at her dads.
Don't know what mischief I will get into today - the weather is kind of overcast.Guess housework is the only thing on the docket for now.Hope you all have a nice dayor actually a great week.

Tina,

I am glad that you are feeling fine and hope that you will take it easy and try not to do too much. I know that you like to keep busy. We are going to have recycling beginning in October and I have been trying to throw some things out before this begins.

We are expecting thundershowers today (Tuesday) but it is
warm outside. Rufus (my golden retriever) is going to for a bath and haircut later this morning.

My big console t.v. went over the weekend. I had a smaller t.v. in my spare bedroom and am now using it for my main one. I haven't decided whether to have t.v. repair man come to look at the t.v. to see if it can be repaired. It is $50.00 for a housecall.

I have decided that I will be replacing 3 windows before winter in my apartment. The men are coming to measure them today. I did have 18 windows replaced on my upstairs apt in May of this year but I am planning on doing some of mine a few at a time due to the expense. I hear it will be a cold winter with lots of snow. I hope that they are wrong.

Take care and I hope everyone has a good week.
