Subject: stocking up

On Friday we went on the "bubble gum run"meaning my daughter has bubble gum machines around the province and we go get the money out-half to the store owners half to her-and refill the machines. While we were in the valley ,which is in the center of our province and a real garden belt, we stocked up on all the veggies that we could without taking too many that they would spoil before we ate them.less than half the price we pay here because transportation prices are not on them if you buy them there. We bought corn, cantelopes, apples, cabbage, carrots, tomatoes and cucumbers. We had dinner at a chinese food place.those of you who know me,know how I love chinese food and there are no really good chinese food places in my immediate area.
We have had rain for Sat and Sunday and supposed to continue today but no flooding.
Phyllis I hope it hasn't made the problems in your area worse,I was so shocked to hear about the flooding there,I was watching cnn when they showed to damage.
Today being Monday and I have made no plans for today so I don't know what mischief I will get into-lol.
Have a good week all!!!
