Sorry to hear that you are under the weather. Did you get a flu shot this year?

I'm sure you know all this but will send info anyways:
Read this recently in Women's World for help with throat throat: Ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) and naproxen (Aleve, Naprosyn) reduce inflammation. Suck on hard candies. Eat ice cream or sorbet. Use a vaporizer or humidifier, spritz throat spray , Gargle with warm salt water several times a day, Drink Tea, Eat soup-

You were right we had a terrible slippery first significant snowstorm last Friday. It started very early in the A.M. We got 15 inches of it. My son-in-law came to pick me and my dog up(this was one of the days that I sit for them)at 6:15 a.m. as I would not have been able to drive safely back home by the evening. We made this decision the night before so I would be ready earlier than usual. It made for a very long day. When I got home I had to do some shoveling so I could get my car out of my driveway so we could have the driveway plowed. My plow did not show up until 10:30 p.m. (way past my usual bedtime)

This week we are having very cold weather and the wind is causing it to feel very, very cold.

I went out to try to do some Christmas shopping here in town and could not find any parking space so came back home and decided I will try again on Thursday.

I hope you feel better.

Hello to Ellie, Margaret and any other readers.

Phyllis
