Subject: Hello. and some old news..

Getting closer.. Xmas I mean! Just to let those of you who would remember my going back a year or so mail re my brother In Kingston, Canada. who was having chemo for cancer. Late last month John had his final check-up and has been declared CANCER FREE! As you can imagine that was wonderful news for all the family. He and wife Jane celebrated by having a weeks holiday on the sunny beaches of Cuba, then came back to zero temps and snow in Kingston!
Tina, Adelaide is a nice place.. I've been there several times, have friends living there. And Yes, it should be a warm Xmas for them.. well, John wants me to go to Canada Xmas 006 to experience a winter Xmas.. and snow.. which I've only seen about 4 times in my whole life!
Hope your sore throat etc get better soon Tina.
I can imagine how proud you were of Zoe.. which reminds me-funny story time. When my granddaughter was a little thing, just in prep class at school, her class was doing a nativity play. Rebekah came home full of excitement declaring 'I'm the star! I'm the Star!' Oh, we thought, the star, she must have been chosen to play Mary"
But Bek meant it literally.. she was the STAR, which meant she didn't have a line to say she just had to stand there and glitter brilliantly! We still laugh over that.
Hope everyone's activities are going well.. will try and write again before Xmas.
Hugs to all,
Ellie.
