Subject: Projects..

Hi Tina and all. Yes, I will be involved in some new projects but not yet.. everything virtually shuts off here in January.. but my 2 writing groups start off again at the beginning of Feb, and the theatre group is hoping to put on some plays, so it will be exciting when we start rehearsing for those! I was supposed to start back with my literacy student today, but he rang in sick.. so that didn't happen.
Well, last Friday I did a really dumb thing. I fell out of a bus! What happened was that I'd been to have lunch with my friend Cate at her place. Coming home when the bus pulled up at the terminus I was going out the back door and slipped on the step. I pitched forward out the door and banged one knee on the concrete and hit my head against the bus shelter! Fortunately no damage done to my head, not even a lump or a headache, but my knee is out in 2 huge black bruises, and is quite sore. Not a good way to start off the New year!
Tina, I'm sorry to hear of your sons MS getting worse, he sounds like a lovely person. Thoughts to you all.
Ellie.

Ellie hope the knee is feeling better..guess you don't want to put a hot water bottle on it in the heat I hear you have been having..my neice is not home from Adelaide yet..anxious to hear how she enjoyed or didn't enjoy the heat.I envy you and your part of working on plays-have fun.
Wondering if phyllis is back in the regular swing of things yet and how her Florida trip was.
Still raining here today..no snow..this is the most "open"winter we have had for many years..hope this doesn't mean the snow is going to come and stay late in the spring.Oh well guess we have to take what comes..we do have it better than many countries so complaining is really out of place.
My house is now back in order..all the Christmas things put away.I always make myself a lot of extra work by really decorating too much..I don't have any little ones to thrill but was so happy when my 5 year old grand nephew came and was wide eyed with awa.His mom said all he talked about for weeks was visiting Aunt Tinas Christmas house so I guess if I thrilled one little boy it was well worth the effort, my teen grandchildren loved it too so if I am well next year I will most likely keep up with tradition.
love to all..catch you later
