Subject: Tina- Sending you hugs

Dear Tina,

I just read your posting and my heart goes out to you for the loss of your beloved Barney. When our pets suffer we must do the right thing for them. I can only imagine the pain and sadness you are going through.

I dread the day that my sweet golden retriever, Rufus will depart this world. He is the first dog I ever had and I do not have any other pets. He has been my faithful companion for 14 years. He has touched so many lives and thanks to him we have met many people on our walks and made new acquaintances. I treasure each day as I know our time is limited. I am so thankful that he can enjoy traveling with me to my granddaughter's home.

We are having cooler weather here this week and it is predicted that we will get some much needed rain.

I too will either have to do some yard work every day but think that I will have to hire someone to do the work. I will probably get a couple of estimate first before I make up my mind. Our city will only take the leaves/small branches in biodegradeable paper bags and only for 5 weeks.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers and send hugs to you.
Phyllis

Thanks for your lovely thoughts Phyllis, I am feeling better now as time goes by.
For a few days I could not get into voy..did anyone else have this problem?
One day here it is warm, next cool, one never knows how to dress when going out..some mornings cold then by afternoon real warm.I have been out walking the dogs a lot for much needed exercise both for me and them after being inside for so long when I had the flu.
All the ducks are back to my pond and woods again..wonderful to watch them.
Zoe my youngest granddaughter had an entry in the school science fair and for all the school hers came first and now goes on to another school in May.I just had to let you know because I am so proud for her, and you know how we grandmoms are-lol
Ellie hope you are enjoying the play preparations and wish you full house on presentation.
