Subject: Sex and the Holidays

Aaaarrrrggggghhhhhh!!!!!!! It's happened! My little girl asked me what sex was the other day. She's only seven! By the time I finished explaining she was giggling and her brother (who was in the room at the time of asking) was completely disgusted.

We're staying home for the holidays as dh is oncall over Christmas/New Year.

Susan, I think there's been a bit of a mix up over that conversation about Santa. We do celebrate Christmas here, just don't do Santa Claus. So, Merry Christmas one and all, and all the blessings of the season.

Please pray, as I haven't seen Kameow in over a week and nor have any of our neighbours who usually see her wandering in their back paddocks.

J and X are out sorting sticks from leaves right now. Our neighbours want the mulch to fill up part of their garden, but can live without the sticks.

We're looking at getting dh a new work vehicle very soon, so keep in mind that we need the finance to go through before New Year for things to work out.

Kylie

[> Hi Kylie -- Susan, 11:56:01 12/22/03 Mon (CPE-144-137-199-145.sa.bigpond.net.au/144.137.199.145)

Kylie, I'm really sorry to hear about Kameow. Have you had a storm that may have frightened him away? Hope you find him soon and sending positive thoughts your way.

I did misunderstand about Christmas and Santa. Sorry about that, bit of brain fade from me lately. Christmas wishes to you and your family as well.

Are J & X helping out of the goodness of their dear little hearts or maybe earning a bit of pocket money? Sounds like they are doing a good job.

Hope the new business vehicle works out okay for you.

I can remember the day my son asked the same question, I think he was about the same age. I actually borrowed a video from the library, "Where Did I come from" and sat down and watched it with him and answered any questions he had. He still talks about the part in the video of explaining the "swimmers racing down the pool to the lady at the other end (lol). They seem to ask so much younger nowadays, don't they.
