Subject: Good morning

Good morning to everyone.

Ellie, could you please tell me where you live as I have recently been back on this site as I am now retired and have more time to catch up. I have been on this site on & off the past couple of years, but did not write very often. I enjoy reading and learning new things.

How exciting that you were able to get together with your pen pal of 20 years. It's alway great to renew old friendships as well as new ones. I do remember that you really enjoyed visiting the ranch and riding on a horse again.

Susan, it always fun to try new recipes especially if the main ingredient is one of your favorite dishes. Twins are very special and they have a closeness and share a special bond with each other no matter what age they are.

Dudo, enjoyed your poem. My sister is also a good writer. She used to write policy when she was working. She opted for an early retirement as 30 years of state service.

Tina, you must be having the same cold weather. Our wind chill factor will be bad this weekend but February is just around the corner.

Kylie, I enjoying reading about all your adventures. Happy Anniversary!

Margaret, I know you are very busy with your husband and with your new sweet dog.

Sorry if I missed anyone.

Phyllis

Thanks Phyllie! We had a fairly relaxed day, no presents because we're still trying to work stuff out with the car, but a good day anyway. We also did a little shopping for textbooks. Then this morning dh left for Canberra at about 6.30am.

Hi Everyone,

Ellie, thanks for giving me an update on where you live and your family. How old are your daughter's twins now? Do your children live near you? How many grandchildren do you have?

You must keep busy working part time and also with your theatre group.

I am an early riser as I love walking (weather permitting) with my dog, Rufus. We have had very cold (wind chilling weather) so far this winter. We are going to have a snow storm on this coming Tuesday.

I am looking forward to Spring.

I have 3 children. My oldest son and his wife lives in Florida. They have 2 daughters (my only grandchildren so far) I just returned from a visit and got to hold my newest granddaughter, Athena for the first time. She was born on 11/19/03. She is so sweet and loves to be held and rocked. My two year old granddaughter, Ariana celebrated her second birthday in January. It was great to be at her birthday party.

My daughter (one of the twins) and her husband live nearby me. Her twin brother lives in Colorado. He is single and enjoys skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and mountain climbing. He went to college in Colorado and fell in love with the outdoor country. He came home for a visit and we all had fun catching up and visiting for the holidays.

Hope everyone has a good weekend.
