Subject: we are in the midst of a blizzard

We are in the midst of the worst blizzard I have seen for years..even the big government snow plows have been getting stuck in the snow banks-30 cm of snow plus we are to get 30 more yet today..snow plow drivers cant see through the blowing snow so are being pulled off the roads until the wind dies down some..winds now are 90 to 100 klm..everything is closed-airports,banks,schools and malls..well everything.the wind has blown some snow banks so high you can't see over them.
Just wanted to cool some of you folks off..just close your eyes and pretend you are here.
Where in heck is everyone anyway..Phillis did you folks get the blizzard?
Have a good week everyone..still like to hear more adventures of your lives and your childrens and pets. You are my far away family the I adopted.

Tina, that is lovely to say we are your far away adopted family.. so while you have been having snow and blizzards (and I got similar news fromy brother in Kingston, tho not as bad there as Halifax and PE Island) we have been having HEAT,It was such stinker yesterday, but today was much cooler, tho other parts of Aus are still sweltering.
I'ts my birthday tomorrow, and I will be going to my daughter Pam's for diner, first son will be there too, and third son with his lovely wife. The missing one will be my second son who lives 700 miles away in Sydney.
I'm kind of back in the swing now that the summer holidays are all done, so I'm back at my part-time job, and the writing groups, and the theatre group, and this week I restart my study course (office skills) so all that is kind of what I've been busy with.
My 2 cats and 3 goldfishies are well. I think the fish have the best place in all the heat, in the water all the time- makes me wish I was a fish too!
Ellie.
