Subject: Thanks to all.........

Thanks to all you lovely people who sent me Happy Birthday wishes. I had a really great afternoon. Got a phone call from son in Sydney, and the biggest surprise from the 'down here' family, they got their heads together and decided they would collectively give me a gift of money to go towards my special 'Canada Fund' (so that I can make a return visit to your beautiful country Tina) it might not be for another year or 2 yet.They also decided they would do this on 'special days' birthday, Mothers Day and Xmas instead of giving me gifts to make my 'Canada Fund' grow bigger.
Had a nice meal of chicken and salad, birthday cake, and a few glasses of wine.. what more could a gal ask for!

Ellie, so glad you had a great birthday and what a wonderful family, organising a donation to your "Canada" fund. It's a part of the world I would love to visit one day as well. Sounds like you had a lovely lunch...

Ellie, a side note - remember Marianna - she named a cat after you? Well, she has announced on Cat Chat that she is
retiring from breeding. Thought you might like to know.
