Subject: This and that...

Hi Everyone. catching up again..Tina, it's really inspiring to read your posts, think of you often!
Re the koalas.. I think Susan has filled you in pretty well on that. I'm not sure but I think they only euthanise the sick ones.. the well ones get moved to locations where there is more food.. apparently koalas are not endangered specie.. (tho they nearly were! The first settlers nearly wiped them out, shooting them for fur.. maybe meat.. tho a koala would taste like a vat full of eucalyptus oil!)
Susan.. I know you will have mixed feelings when Lee goes to London.. believe me it tears the heart when the baby birds fly the nest! Laugh, but when one of my sons moved out at 18, (and he only moved a few miles to a neighbouring suburb!!-- I bawled like a baby!)
Later on I had to get used to all 3 sons at various times living in Sydney. and even 700 miles can seem a long, long, way. But Lee will be fine, and you will be able to keep in touch daily of you want thru email.
Hello Phyliss and Kylie.. hope the new car is behaving well there,Kylie..
Hi to all the others, who may be reading- but not writing..!
Ellie.

Ellie, the new car is great. I even got a chance to drive it last Friday when J had his Hapkido lesson.

It's getting even closer now...till Leigh leaves. He sent his Visa application away last week (lol).

I know what you mean about them leaving home. Leigh left home about 5 years ago to live in Adelaide and study at Uni. You do get used to them living away from home and I am sure he will be fine overseas and yes, emails and phones are much easier these days. Also, you never know, maybe now we can have holiday we might get over to see him next year (lol)?
