Subject: Upcoming Concert

I am so excited as Kenny Rogers is going to be putting on a concert here in New Hampshire in July. I have been to 4 previous concerts to see him live and am looking forward to seeing him again. Tickets are going on sale this Saturday. The last concert we went to was 2 years ago. He is one of my favorite singers.

I do like most music: country, opera, soft rock and some classical songs. I do not care for jazz even though I have tried to like it.

It is raining out today, but at least it is warm so it is not slippery out. We are going to have a warm up for the weekend.

My sister walked over to visit me. Since she does not have her own computer, she usually checks her e-mail a few times a week weather permitting. We live in the same neighborhood. It takes her 10- 15 minutes to walk over.

When my sister was a child, she had a penpal in Hamilton,Australia but unfortunately she lost touch with her.

Looking forward to spring weather. It's maple syrup season now and a lot of the maple sugar houses are having open house and are advertising. I sent some to my son in Colorado. Is maple syrup available in Australia?

Hi Phyllis, sounds like you've been very busy. Hope you get the tickets to see Kenny Rogers. Should be a great concert. Sounds like the weather is warming up for you, that's good.

Hamilton is in country Victoria, a few hours from where I live, a pretty area of Australia. I know we have Maple syrup here in Australia but I don't imagine it would compare with your authentic Maple syrup you have other there. We have something similar called Golden Syrup which we use to have on pikelets as kids.

Hi! Phillis..our musical likings are the same-I like all music except jazz-Kenny Rogers came out with "the gambler"the week the first owners of the TV station I worked at had to sell..one of the bosses cried.I will never forget that it was about 28 yrs ago.
Our Maple syrup is just starting to run now-I should say maple sap.
Hope your weather is warming up-ours has just warmed up a tad.
