Subject: Hi All

Well, it's been a bit busy for us lately and not looking to slow down for a few weeks. We've been busy with work, which is good really. On Friday we went to our niece's wedding in Adelaide. She is 26 and looked just lovely. They were married at a place called Camelot Castle in the Adelaide Hills, such a pretty setting. The building does look like a castle and the gardens were just beautiful.

Next week end we are going to Adelaide to shift our son, Leigh out of his flat. He is off overseas around the 20th of April and will spend the time until then with us. I'm looking forward to having him home for a while. His work Visa has come through and he is excited and nervous about going to London.
It is my Mum's 85 birthday on 17th April and my sister and husband are coming over from Melbourne for the weekend, so we will go to Adelaide again (about 3 and a half hours) and take her out to lunch. She is pretty good for her age and very "switched" on mentally.
She will miss Leigh's visits, as he only lived about 5 minutes away and used to visit and take her out to lunch which she really enjoyed.
Hope everyone is well.

Congratulations on you Mom's 85th birthday! It is great that you and your sister & her husband can celebrate with your Mom by taking her out to lunch.

It is good that you will have some time with your son before he leaves for London. I'm sure that he will keep in touch by e-mail, phone, etc. My youngest son still calls often even though he is so far from home. I have an answering machine so I'm always happy to hear from him if I should miss his call.

Your niece's wedding sounds absolutely beautiful and the surroundings of the garden and area must have added a lot to the ceremony. Weddings are so joyous occasions to be celebrated with family & friends.

We celebrated Palm Sunday with a community fish dinner held at church which was prepared by some of the men, including my ex-husband who volunteered as he is a chef. We had baked haddock with rice & string beans with tomato sauce, rolls, coffee and ice cream with strawberries for dessert.

It is now raining outside & we expect snow tonight.

Best of luck for your son for his future.
