Nice to hear from you Dudo..wish I could send you some of the rain we have been getting..Rained most of this month but everything sure looks nice and clean-including my car.
I agree-the toys of the rich sure can spoil nature..poor lake loons live in turmoil and are even moving nests into the woods edge these last few years instead of on the swampy side of lakes..other birds have been too scared to nest near lakes while some have gotten used to the noises from ski jets and speed boats.
I can liken the fear the poor birds have to the fact our once so peaceful country has gotten so bad--our quiet little area has had numerous store robberies lately-that is something we never dreamed would happen around here. The price of cigarettes has been put up to eleven dollars a pack-supposedly to make people quit smoking..well they havent and are now stealing them.
My it must be hot to cook for a crew of people but I admire your ambition. How is your mom doing?Give her a big Nova Scotia hug.
was nice hearing from you.Tried to catch you twice when I saw you on but this computer is so slow that by the time I got to you the computer said you were now off air.

Sorry to hear that you need rain. We had plenty of it last week. The weather today is breezy but nice and sunny. It is supposed to get warmer this weekend.

I enjoy reading your writings. You are very creative with words.

I hate to see the environment suffer from individuals who do not care or throw items in the water. I often watch the Animal Channel and see the stories about different creatures who need help due to careless acts of humans.

Cooking is hard work. You must be devoted to your profession. My ex-husband cooks in large quantities for his work. He works in state services and provides food for the employees and public as well as some patients. He has always worked as a chef and is an excellent one. He has worked in many restaurants in the past.

Tina,

Sorry to hear about all the robberies in your area. That is frightening especially when one never had to worry about it before. I know in the larger city which is about 20 miles from here, there seems to always be robberies and shootings going on.

I'm glad that you are having some nice weather. I finally raked some leaves today and will continue to do so until I get them done and bagged. Our city will only collect them if they are in individual bags and only so many a week for a certain time period.

My daughter has the day off tomorrow so I'm sure I will not be doing any yard work but will spend the day with her doing fun things.

Hello to everyone else.

Phyllis
