My heart goes out to you. I went through clearing out my parents belongings-it's hard to know what to keep and what not to keep-I gave my neices and nephews-sister and brother and my children the things they wanted-pictures,some items they always associated with Mother and Father..Cookie jars that held great memories, some wall hangings that they had memories of enchantment with-oh a lot of things..Dads war medals,Mothers first hat she made in a hat factory-in the USA-and her job acceptance letter. All these ment more than the larger items!Furniture went to those setting up appartments for going to university and to the local animal shelter yard sale.It is so heartbreaking to settle an estate..so many memories..Bless you-Tina
