Thanks for the pep talk-lol, there are rare times I get "down in the dumps"
Like you I rarely buy magazines,My brother-in-law gives me a subscription to 2 different ones every year,Readers digest and a gossip rag called Frank,My son Kevin giver me one to "our Canada" and I get my news a day late,Kevin lives 1 minute from here so I get his newspapers, these and any others get passed through our family and some to the hospitals.

Hi Gals,

Tina, you know that so many people are keeping you in their thoughts and prayers. With so many of us thinking positively for your outcome, everything should turn out well for you. Thanks Ellie for your words of support for Tina.

I enjoyed reading about Bo. He is a gift to you and your family.

I had my youngest sister and her husband over for supper last night. They celebrated 30 years of marriage. They do not have any children. There actual anniversary was in August but I was recovering from my eye surgery so we postponed dinner. Also my sister was recovering from her thyroid surgery at that time.

I am spending today with my daughter and granddaughters as it is a holiday today (Labor day). It does not seem possible that it is September already. We have been having beautiful weather and I always enjoy looking forward to fall because of the lovely foliage here in New England.

I am praying for the people in New Orleans and surrounding area because of the storm "Gustav" headed their way.

Sending my best to both of you.

Phyllis
