Subject: birthday heart attack

My family would have been real disappointed if they would have waited for my real birth date to have a party, good thing we all got together last week. 4 am on my birthday an ambulance was taking me to the hospital with a heart rhythm of 180. Had a borderline heart attack but strong enough to leave scar tissue. I am home already, they don't keep you long after your heart rhythm is stabalized.just an extra day.I won't forget Friday for sure.4 am until noon the next day was a nightmare. Seem to be doing ok now but pains in the belly where they gave me 2 injections of wafferin to thin the blood quickly.Must scram. Have a great week ladies!!

Tina, I just can't believe the way things happen to you, and you bounce up like a ball! An heart attack on your birthday, then you take time to write to us. Happy belated birthday dear Tina, may your recovery be swift, and your days bright.
Hugs,
Ellie.

Dear Tina,

I am so sorry to read that you had a heart attack. Thank goodness that you are back home and on the road to recovery. I think of you often and always keep you in my thoughts and nightly prayers.

I have been extra busy as my ex-husband was in the hospital recently due to vertigo and he is unable to drive at this time. I am taking him to all his medical appointments and driving him to do his errands. I am trying to make all his appointments on the days that I do not watch my granddaughters.

Ashley will be turning 5 months on November 2. She is rolling over now and putting everything in her mouth. She keeps me busy as she is eating cereal now. She is a happy baby and lots of fun too. I also get to see Kaitlyn when she gets home from preschool. Her father picks her up when he gets out of work. I usually stay until my daughter returns from work. It is a long day as I leave the house at 6:30 a.m. and return home around 5:30 p.m.

My sister and I and her former college professor and his wife recently went to the Olive Garden (an italian restaurant). We usually meet them once a year to visit and catch up on our families. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is great at this restaurant.

We have been having beautiful warm weather but I hear it is going to change soon. I am not looking forward to winter at all.

Sending my best to you Ellie too. I hope all is well with you.

Phyllis

Oh how I wish we had an Italian restaurant near here.Nearest one almost an hour away.
You are so good to your ex..sometimes it is so much better to be friends than husband and wife.Great if you can be both but it does not always work-lol.
Our weather has been nice and mild which will help with the fuel bill, hopefully we will have a shorter fuel using winter than last year.Ours being electric heat only heat source, it gets very pricey.
I felt fairly good yesterday, hopefully things are on the mend.I hate just being able to read/watch tv and not do anything more productive but they said rest is essential but they do want me to take a few 5 minutes walks during the day.Bo my doggie loves that! I think he likes more often walks than 1 or 2 long ones.
I don't know what will happen in the future, all the animal shelters in Nova Scotia are overloaded with unwanted pets.Hope Ellie is reading this as well as you Phyllis because I was wondering if Australia has the same dog and cat problem from not enough people spay/neut their cats and dogs.
Kaitlyn and Ashley must be a joy to you, so much fun watching them grow.oh yes lots of work as well!
Have a great day ladies
