Hi Ellie,

I am so sorry that you are having such extreme heat. My thoughts and prayers are with you for conditions to improve. It seems all over the nation that weather is changing and causing all kinds of problems.

I cannot stand the hot, hot weather we have in the summer time when we have a heat wave. Do you have an air conditioner or fan in your apartment?

The best news from you is the arrival of the baby.
I am so happy that your new grandson arrived and everyone is doing fine. How many pounds is 4 kilos?

I have been having trouble as I injured my right rotator cuff. First, I foolishly tried using the roof rake in December and it ached a little. Then on Jan. 1, I was out shoveling and later in the day had terrible pain. Went to ER and was told it was a torn rotator cuff injury. I am going for physical therapy. I still continue to watch my granddaughter, age 8 months and try to lift her with my left shoulder mostly.

Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.

Tina, we have been having lots of snow every week and it is piling up everywhere. It is hard to see beyond the snow banks.

Wishing both of you a good month.

Fondly,
Phyllis
