Actually, you're missing the real point of the discussion (i.e.; what's it going to take for the California Big West schools to develop long-term fan and $$$ support?).

I agree, the competition for entertainment dollars in California is far greater than in Logan Utah. That is the problem; despite all the media market garbage, USU is clearly the stronger draw and creates more real long-term interest. However, instead of using the other entertainment "excuse", what are the California Big West schools going to do to build up real alumni support, instead of student fads.
