Subject: Tulsa Area Tornado

If you are hearing about the tornado in the Tulsa area on the news, my family is fine.
Tornado sirens went off here in my town, just north of Tulsa. We went to my Mom and Dad's and helped get them in and out of their cellar. Dad said he'd checked the cellar a few days ago and there was no water in it. Well, there was today...about 2-3" over most of the floor. The sump pump was already in there and while we were there, we plugged it in and pumped it out. Obviously, there are some cracks that need sealed.
According to the news, there is a mobile home park in a town south and west of Tulsa that got destroyed and one person died.
The storm and tornado moved into the Tulsa area right at rush hour tonight. Although there's not a "good" time for a tornado, rush hour was NOT a good time at all!!!
Just wanted to check in here, so everyone would know we're OK.
Patty

Hi Patty,

So glad you and your family are safe..very scary. Glad you are close by to your Mom and Dad and helped them to get to safety.

You must be a bundle of nerves when that siren goes off. Sorry to hear that one person died in that Tornado..just devastating.

You are all in my "Thoughts."

Stay Safe My Friend....Hugs- Joann

I'm very thankful that your whole family is safe. The sound of that tornado siren blaring is really scarey. We have no basement but do have an interior hall that is our shelter. We've been blessed here in our area of GA that the tornadoes have gone around us.

So glad to hear that you and your family are safe and sound. I heard that it also hit Moore, again. Any loss of life is devastating but it could been a lot worse as we all know. Take care Patty!!!
