Hi Darlene~

I know how upsetting that was to you losing the stone from your ring. That's what happened to my Mother's Ring when I was a Retail Rep working on candy racks. My first thought was if it happened to that ring..I wasn't going to chance the Diamond on my Wedding Band Ring getting knocked out. That's when I got the Gold Wedding Band and had it for 36 years and it really did upset me. Hopefully one day you'll find that shiny gem hiding in your house too!

Now about the Towel Holder.. the plastic piece is a Plastic Bracelet 8 Pk from Walmart in the Party Section for $1.00..and I did get other plastic bracelets from the Dollar Store I think maybe 8 Pk for $1.00. I did also find more at Michael's 8 Pk for a $1.00. The bracelets come in round shapes and heart shapes and also flower shapes..so I have an assortment to choose from.

I'm putting the link to this Towel Holder here..I should of done this with the photo above.. just in case anyone would like to make. It was really easy to do and looks nice too.

Thanks and Hugs~ Joann

I am trying to make the towel holder and just can't seem to make it come out. Referencing line 13, when I begin I have the stated 10 dc but for the life of me I can't seem to get the 10 chain 2 loops. I don't see how that is possible since at the beginning of row 13 you start with chain 3 than SC in the next dc, that uses up one so I am only getting 9 chain 2 loops.

Hi Helen~

I'm not sure why it isn't coming out for you. I do know that it will still look good...as the next step is putting all the dc's in the chain 2 loops. This part is what makes it all frilly when finished.

I hope this will be of help to you.

Hugs~ Joann

You're Welcome Helen...

I know that once completed and pulled through the opening..there's no way any mistake would show...it's very full and fluffy. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Joann thank you for this. I could make some just for handouts at Christmas. I copied the instructions off for my mom and I. She doesn't have much extra money and could make these for her Bible Study Group and friends. Thank you. I have been so busy that I haven't gotten on the puter much. Also seems like when I have time my DH is on it or my son. Oh well. Thanks again
Linda

Hi Linda~

You're Quite Welcome..I'm glad you liked and think your Mom will find this a nice gift to give to her Bible Study Group and Friends too. It's really inexpensive and makes for a different way to display the kitchen towels.

When I gave this one to my Daughter Sherry..I included 2 Easter Towels to go with it. She really does like to display these on her center island near the sink.

I've got to make another for Sherry for the 4th of July in Red White & Blue Yarn. I already purchased a Red Towel and a Blue Towel to go with the yarn. I will post a photo when I get this done (I have a little time before I need to accomplish.) I'm working on another scarf at the moment and want to finish it first before starting another project.

It was nice hearing from you and glad you got a minute to share the computer time!

Take Care and Hugs~ Joann
