Briefly, loved, loved, LOVED the realistic portrayal of the snarky, pissed off mom-to-be. Now, THIS is how an unsouled vampire reacts to an unfavourable situation (in her mind, anyway). Wonder if that teary scene in the car near the end means she's buckling? (Angel thought so). I would accept her having feelings for the child, as she is female (if a vampire). But she should not start taking on a new viewpoint toward humans in general, even if she gives birth to one. She should still see them as a source of drink and inferior to her kind. (Of course, she wouldn't attack her own offspring; even I am not that insistent on vampires being so very evil). So, loving Darla and hope that she - unlike wussy Brad - is allowed to stay true to form. Her recurring status may just permit that.

Although I love Darla and pump for A/Da, I was offended by Angel generally, as he is being portrayed as having totally forgotten about the girl who had always been portrayed as the love of his life, namely Buffy. Now, I love Angel and dislike Buffy, but I always saw him as a true blue romantic. For heaven's sake, he was totally celibate for two years (unlike the walking set of gonads, Spike). I expect better from him, i.e. no making googoo eyes at Cordelia, no thinking of himself as Darla's partner YET. Angel - the true Angel - is too romantic and gallant to just shuck aside thoughtlessly his longtime love who has just returned from the DEAD. He needs more time - infinitely more time - to get over Buffy (if he ever does) and turn to a fellow vampire (either Darla or Dru). Angel, love, don't be like caddish Brad who casts aside nearly 100 years of love and togetherness like yesterday's newspapers. (And I refer not just to B/S, but also the disgusting cohabitation with twit Harmony. She utterly made me gag).
